 The museum is in Market Square, behind the Town Hall and opposite the police station.

 There are a few parking spaces outside, including one disabled space, but the nearest car park is the Fairground
 in Market Street, opposite Morrisons supermarket, about two minutes walk.  There are several car parks within five
 minutes walk.   Most of them charge a small fee (pay and display).  To find out which one is best for you, go to

 The bus station is also on Market Street,

 Congleton bus timetables

 There is a walkway from the back of the bus station up past the library to Market Square.

 Congleton is on the main railway line between Stoke and Manchester and has an hourly train in each direction during
 the day.   The railway station is approximately a mile away on the A527 towards Biddulph.  Buses go from the station
 to the town centre at half hour intervals during the day.
