Summer Art competition for children

Calling young artists: Congleton Museum is hosting a summer art competition for school aged children. The theme is ‘History in Congleton and Astbury’. Entries cost £1. Behind the Scenes – Congleton Museum Textiles Group

World War 1 Weaving

A large World War One commemorative weaving is being created at Congleton Museum by Trish Lovell. Every Saturday from the 9th August to the end of November, Trish will be at the museum creating the large green field to which poppies can be attached.
