Women PoetsWomen Poets of The Great War

In conjunction with Congleton Museum’s First World War exhibition Open Space present a small selection of the creative women of the war.

In May 2012, Lucy London began researching Female Poets of the First World War for an exhibition at The Wilfred Owen Story Museum in Argyle Street, Birkenhead, Wirral. By the time the exhibition had ended, she had become so fascinated by the subject that she continued the research adding further sections. This exhibition features selected panels of Female Poets of the First World War, Inspirational Women of WW1, Forgotten Poets of the First World War and Fascinating Facts of the Great War.

Exhibition is free and open during normal Museum hours. Donations are welcome.
