There may be occasions when there is no-one permanently on reception. Should this be the case, when you visit, please ring the white bell which is situated to the right of the door.
As Congleton Museum is a small venue, it would be appreciated if visitors could, where possible, continue to wear a face covering.
Admission is free but donations are welcomed.
Group Visits of 6 or more by appointment only at a charge of £3.50 per head for activities.
Our Gift shop is in the reception area, you can buy all the museum’s publications as well as a selection of local history books, pictures, craft items and souvenirs.
The museum is fully accessible for people with disabilities. There is a ramp up to the entrance, a wheelchair lift on the stairs, large toilet and a hearing loop available for talks and walks.
Toilets and Refreshments
Toilets are available on the first floor, but there are no refreshment facilities. There are a variety of cafes in Congleton town centre, which is about a two minute walk. Ask at reception for details.
Entry to Congleton Museum is free! However, the Museum depends on income from membership, gifts and donations from visitors. Please donate generously to ensure that the museum and the local heritage is preserved for this and future generations. Suggested donation £2.
