What stories truly represent Congleton — and how should the town be presented to the wider world?

Cheshire’s archives: a story shared selected key stories about Congleton to be included in a new digital resource. This will allow people to explore and understand local places through the stories that have shaped them.

Imagine entering a postcode online and seeing the stories that bring that place to life.

This is exactly what Cheshire Archives is building as part of their county-wide project.

Before the resource goes live, it is vital that we hear local voices.

Join us at Congleton Museum at 11:00 am on Saturday, 28 June, to discuss the selected stories with our colleagues from Cheshire Archives, share your thoughts, and suggest what should be included among the ‘100 Gems of Congleton’.
