Early 20th Century children's clogs.
Early 20th Century Ceramic Rolling Pin. Made as a promotional item for Hodgkinson's and Yoxall's Shop. Hodgkinson's and Yoxall was a drapery and household shop situated at 15 High Street Congleton, the site of the now closed HSBC bank. This rolling pin which was made to advertise and promote the shop would have been sold as a decorative baking item.
1933 Silver Ceremonial Key. This inscribed silver key presented to Alderman Rea Daniel, when he as Mayor, officially opened the new electricity substation on Bromley Road. Congleton had entered the 21st Century by becoming connected to a permanent electricity supply.
