Wizard’s Workshop: Make Your Own Wand

Step into the realm of magic at Congleton Museum’s Wizard’s Workshop on April 4th, starting at 2pm! Calling all aspiring wizards and witches for a spellbinding two-hour adventure. Delve into the art of wand-making using the mystical Powertex, and adorn your creation with dazzling embelishments. Let your imagination soar as you craft your own unique wand using material and product, ready to channel your favourite Harry Potter character. Join us for an unforgettable experience at Congleton Museum. 

Expect to get messy! Aprons will be provided, however we advise to wear old clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty. Powertex is non-toxic, and safe to use. Attendees will make one wand similar to the ones shown in the event photograph.

The workshop will be delivered by Sarah who owns Happy Times Craft, and all materials are provided. 

Children aged 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult. This workshop is suitable for people aged 10+, we welcome young people and adults. Tickets are limited due to the nature of the event. Only one accompanying adult per young person. 

Tickets are non-refundable. Please let the museum know if you are unable to attend as soon as possible.
