Sunday walk – ‘Where two or three are gathered together’

Leader: Ian Doughty

This walk will look at how spiritual belief and practice, as demonstrated in the town’s religious buildings, became a reflection of Congleton’s growing administrative independence, civic pride, industrial confidence and social conscience.

Meet at the museum at 2pm, no need to book in advance, simply turn up on the day. Walks include a booklet containing images relevant to the walk.

Complimentary cream tea after the walk with each adult ticket is included. A sweet snack and cordial is available for children. Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance if you have any dietary requirements.
